Celebrating the fifty years of enthusiastic remembrance of the
Middletown based New York Ontario & Western Railway since it ceased operation on March 29, 1957, the Ontario & Western Historical Society will hold its second annual "Middletown Day," as above scheduled:
There will be displays of historical significance and the opportunity for discussion with noted NYO&W authorities and authors:
Marv Cohen – Author and Historian From The Middletown Historical Society.
Robert E. Mohowski – Associate Editor of Railroad Model Craftsman.
John Taibi – author of numerous books and articles about the O&W.
Ron Vassallo – O&W Historical Society Webmaster.
Former O&W employees………as in attendance.

Power Point presentation by Doug Barberio, educator and historian on the "Middletown Branch of the O&W".
Presentation of the DVD "NYO&W On Film" by Ron Vassallo. This is the just released DVD "The NYO&W On Film" by the O&WRHS and it is roughly 3 hours of rare O&W Film, Employee Interviews and Music. Ron will be
showing about an hour of this DVD.
Refreshments will be available for sale outside of the Senior Center.
