March 15, 2007--Dimension Bike Products
In 2005, there was a voluntary recall of Dimension brand threadless stems in the 130-degree "high rise" models. This recall included both road and mountain versions in all extension lenghts, both silver and black, but limited to the 130-degree models only. While Cinder Track Bicycles has not sold any of the defective stems, these stems were sold prior to 2005 and many remain in circulation through out the country. We advise that if you own a bike, to please look at the stem and if you have any questions about it's safety, please bring it by for a check up. The stems were reported to break, causing injury. |
